Javier Luengo became interested in photography in the mid-90s. In 2001 he received a bachelor degree in film processing and Photography Arts and her first advertising assignment. After a few years working like a technician and assistant in some film photo labs and photo studios, and experiment with color/b&w film, the laboratory and the street photography, in 2003 he decided study a Master degree in photojournalism and documentary photography. In 2005 he receives the first prize at the Fuji Euro Press Photo Awards. Finally in 2007 established as a freelance photographer with Agencia EFE and others magazines and publications.
Currently he is living and working in Barcelona and available for assignments worldwide.
