Javier became interested in photography in the ends of 90`s.
A native of Madrid, Javier has been assigned to cover history-shaping events and documented people and cultures.
His work has been published in several newspaper, magazines and publications.
In 2001 received a bachelor degree in film processing and Photography Arts.
After a few years working like a technician and photo assistant in some of the most important professional photo-Labs and Photo-studios in Madrid, he decided to study a Master degree in photojournalism and documentary photography.
After he receives the First Prize at the Fuji Euro Press Photo Awards in 2005, he begins working as a freelance photographer for newspapers, agencies, magazines and other publications.
Javier has led master class, workshops, studies programs and conferences in several Spanish Universities, schools and educations center.
Currently based in Catalonia and ready for assignments worldwide.
