Javier became interested in photography in the  ends of 90`s. A native of Madrid, Javier documented people and cultures around the world as a Documentary & Portrait Photographer contributor like, for example, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, El Mundo, The Jyllands-Posten, RIA Nóvosti, Getty Images and Agencia EFE.

From 1999 to 2001 received a bachelor in film processing and Photography Arts in a school arts from Madrid. 

In her beginnings, and for a few years, Javier worked as a photography technician and assistant in some of the most important Photo-Labs and Photo-studios in Madrid and continued studying a Master's degree in photojournalism and documentary photography. After he receives the First Prize at the Fuji Euro Press Photo Awards in 2005, he begins working as a freelance photographer for newspapers, agencies, magazines and other publications.

Javier has led master class, workshops, studies programs and conferences in some schools and photo educations center.

Currently living in Catalonia.
